Phelps had a run of bad luck during his early years. Now, he leads the good life surrounded by people who want to give him treats and generally pamper him senseless. He repays us by soulfully baying at anyone who dares to walk into the brewery unannounced.
Like all dogs, Phelps teaches us about the best things in life: a long memory for the good times, an inability to hold grudges, unwaivering hope, and a good belly scratch.
